They met Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung, who expressed his belief that the Vietnam visit by the King and Queen will be a great success, contributing to cooperation between the two countries in general and open a new chapter of relationship between the Belgian partners and Hai Phong City.

“I propose that the businesses present today will study investment opportunities, introduce Belgian investors and businesses to Hai Phong, and boost comprehensive and sustainable cooperation activities in all fields. Hai Phong commits to creating all favorable conditions for investors to come and learn about the investment environment, trade, tourism as well as seek cooperation and development opportunities in Hai Phong,” Tung said.

Belgian King said he is proud that Belgian companies, including DEEP C and many other businesses, have invested in Hai Phong City. He added that as Vietnam and especially Hai Phong are the gateway to Southeast Asia, he hopes more Belgian companies will come to invest in Hai Phong and continue the cooperation between the two countries.

The King and Queen of Belgium visited Lan Ha Bay and the Belgian delegation visited and worked at the Vinfast Automobile Manufacturing Plant and the Deep C Industrial Park Complex in Hai Phong.
