Minister of Defense praises Vietnamese soldiers engaged in Myanmar post-earthquake recovery
(VOVWORLD) - Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang on Thursday sent a letter to military officers and soldiers who are participating in post-earthquake recovery in Myanmar.

In the letter, Minister Giang wrote that implementing the direction of the Party Central Committee, the Prime Minister and the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of Defense sent 80 officers and professional soldiers plus equipment to Myanmar to help recover earthquake aftermaths.
Despite difficulties and hardships, they’ve worked closely with the Myanmar authorities to search and rescue victims from collapsed areas.
This action has reflected the noble international spirit, the beautiful traditions of the Vietnamese nation, and the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers".
