Myanmar pledges to support ASEAN envoy
(VOVWORLD) - Myanmar's military chief Senior Gen. Min Aung Hlaing said he will make sure an ASEAN special envoy to Myanmar can meet with all parties involved in the country's political turmoil, including armed ethnic minority groups, according to a joint statement Friday.

At a meeting between Min Aung Hlaing and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen in the capital Naypyitaw, Hun Sen said the goal of peace and national reconciliation cannot be reached without all parties’ participation and agreement.
The Cambodian Prime Minister is the first country leader to have visited Myanmar since last February.
