During the discussions, NA deputies recommended that the government ensure the central budget maintains its primary role, with particular prioritization in health, education, social security, and core economic sectors. This would enable better leverage of local resources and non-state sector contributions.

Discussing revisions to the Securities Law, they proposed expanding the category of professional investors to include foreign organizations and individuals, reflecting current investment activities in the securities market. They supported strengthening the State Securities Commission’s authority to collect and analyze information to detect market manipulation.

The same day, the deputies discussed the draft revision of the Electricity Law, showing broad support for advancing renewable and green energy.

NA deputy Thach Phuoc Binh of Tra Vinh province said: "Amid the serious impacts of climate change, it’s important to promote renewable energy  to protect the environment and ensure national energy security. I suggest setting a minimum renewable energy contribution within the national electricity supply to ensure the roadmap of transition into clean energy, develop incentives like tax breaks and streamlined administrative procedures for renewable energy projects."
