Ksor Phuoc, a member of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee and President of the Ethnic Council, said the Council will work with the relevant state agencies to evaluate and debate 12 bills on the National Reserves, Cooperatives, Publishing, National Defense Education, Anti-Terrorism, and Capital.

Many suggested that the national reserve should be used for preventing and resolving unexpected incidents such as natural disasters, epidemics, and defense in cases of emergency.  It was deemed unnecessary to use national reserves for stabilizing the market and the macro-economy, and ensuring social welfare. The delegates also agree to retract the list of areas included in the national reserve and asked the government to define issues of national defense and security.
