(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has praised the role played by Spain and its legislative body in Europe and wished for further cooperation in law making, economic and educational development. Hung told the visiting Spanish Senate delegation led by its first Deputy Speaker Jose Lucas Gimenez in Hanoi on Tuesday that the visit will strengthen bilateral ties and strategic partnership. The Spanish guest pledged his support for Vietnamese investors to come and do business in Spain and Europe. He called for Vietnam’s support for Spain’s bid to join the United Nations Security Council this September.

During talks earlier with the Vietnamese National Assembly delegation, both sides agreed to increase the exchange of visits and strengthen mutual support in international parliamentarian fora.
