(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam presented the Labour Hero title to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion on Sunday when the Institute celebrated its 31^st anniversary. Director of the Institute Nguyen Anh Tri was honored with the first-class Labour Order.

During its 31 years, the Institute has been the leader in hematology and blood transfusion. It has collected sufficient blood for transfusion needs in the cities and has tried to expand the blood bank to meet the needs of people in rural areas.
