National leaders pay respect to President Ho Chi Minh

(VOVworld) – Representatives of the Party, State, National Assembly, and Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi on Sunday to mark the late President’s 125th birthday on May 19.

The delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan.

The leaders expressed their respect for and gratitude to Uncle Ho, who founded and fostered the Vietnam Communist Party, for his great contributions to Vietnam’s revolution.

The delegation also placed wreaths at the Monument to Fallen Soldiers.

The same day, delegations of the Central Military Party Committee, the Defense Ministry, the Police force, and Hanoi City conducted similar activities to pay their respect to President Ho Chi Minh.
