(VOVworld) - Nha Trang Sea Festival under the theme: “Nha Trang – Sea rendezvous” came to an end last night in Nha Trang city. A 90-minute ceremony included 3 parts: Blue sea melody, with Spratly archipelago, and Nha Trang – sea rendezvous. The event affirmed Khanh Hoa sea tourism brand as “a civilized and friendly destination”. Truong Dang Tuyen, Director of the Khanh Hoa provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “Performances at the closing night ceremony reaffirmed Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands and also proved that Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa is a worthwhile civilized and friendly destination. The closing ceremony delivered a message which introduces Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa as a venue of future international events”.

Nha Trang Sea Festival 2013, held from June 8 – 11, featuring nearly 60 cultural, sports, and tourism activities. As the fifth of such events, this year’s festival upheld the cultural identities and combined them with characteristics of modernity and the sea.
