No new cases of COVID-19 reported on Sunday, 225 fully recover
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-`9 on Sunday morning, keeping the country’s total number of infections at 270, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said.
225 or 83% of the patients have fully recovered. No new cases of infection in the community have been reported since April 16. Only 29 cases remain positive to SARS-CoV-2. 13 of them have tested negative once and 3 have tested negative twice. 5 positive cases have been relapsed and are being monitored at hospitals. Experts warn that the risk of disease infection remains because there might be virus carriers in the community while vaccines and medicines specific to COVID-19 have been unavailable.
