(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has held a seminar on organization of Vietnam’s coffee sector in Buon Ma Thuot, Dak lak province.

The Ministry’s Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development proposed the establishment of some organizations such as Coffee Council, Coffee Growers Association and Association for small enterprises. Head of the Institute, Dang Kim Son said there still lacks connection and synchronization between enterprises and coffee growers for sustainable development: "It is time to review the coordination to restructure the coffee sector. The Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development is working out a strategy to develop agricultural production in 10 years including restructuring coffee sector".
