Party leader commemorates Hung Kings in Phu Tho

(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam offered incense in commemoration of the Hung Kings – the founders of the Vietnamese nation – at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Site in Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province on Wednesday.

In the solemn atmosphere at Kinh Thien Temple on Nghia Linh Mountain, the General Secretary and delegates expressed their respect and gratitude to the ancestors, praying for national peace and prosperity, and happiness for the people.

Following the incense offering, General Secretary To Lam laid flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh in the bas-relief featuring “Uncle Ho talking to Pioneer Brigade at Gieng Temple intersection at the foot of Nghia Linh Mountain."

The same day, the Party leader met with leaders of Phu Tho to extend Lunar New Year wishes to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of the province.
