(VOVworld) - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation today left Hanoi for an official visit to Singapore.

The three-day visit is made at the invitation of Singaporean Prime Minister and Secretary General of the People’s Action Party of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong. The visit aims to develop relations between Vietnam and Singapore, particularly in politics, economics and trade.
