(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong today/ on Thursday met with visiting delegation from Laos Women’s Union led by President Sisay Leudetmounsone in Hanoi.

Mr. Trong affirmed that Vietnam – Laos relationship is a valuable asset that need to be treasured and preserved for future generations. He also spoke highly of the visit as well as effective cooperation between Vietnam and Lao’s Women unions over the past years. The Party leader expressed his wish that the Women unions of the two countries will continue their traditions to effectively implement signed agreements and cooperate in the organization of the Vietnam – Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year, which helps further time-honored friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
