People’s Court works out this year’s tasks

(VOV) – The Court sector should strictly implement judicial procedures and improve the quality of hearings so that judgments are more persuasive.

Speaking at a review conference today/ on Tuesday in Hanoi, State President Truong Tan Sang said that this year, the People’s Courts should have frequent supervision on hearings at Courts of all levels to overcome any shortcomings in litigation: "It is necessary to raise the litigation performance to ensure correct and fair trials. Suspended sentence and probation especially to those committed with corruption need to be in line with the laws. Civil and administrative cases should be solved through mediation and dialogues. It is essential to have clear judgments to avoid difficulties in enforcement".

The State President also asked the Court sector to continue criticism and self-criticism in line with the Party Central Committee’s Resolution on Party building, studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
