The government leader praised achievements made by central highlands provinces over the past decade as well as their unity and effort to implement the Party guidelines and State policies. He urged the Steering Committee and relevant ministries to address difficulties and ensure sustainable development: “We must prioritize socio-economic development and improving living standards for local people. Unique policies to fully tap the local advantages and minimize weaknesses must be initiated. The central highlands should cooperate with relevant agencies to tackle ill-intentioned plots by hostile forces.”
