Chairing a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday between the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front to review their coordination work in the past five years and work out future tasks, Prime Minister Chinh asked member organizations “to better perform their role of supervision and social criticism, maximize the wisdom of experienced scientists and experts, and promote the Front’s participation in power control.”

“It’s necessary to coordinate and propose appropriate mechanisms and methods in the fight against corruption and waste at the grassroots level, contributing to ensuring the people's legitimate rights and interests,” Prime Minister Chinh said.

He also asked the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission to coordinate with State administrative agencies to continue encouraging people to participate in policy making and implementation, paying attention to the legitimate interests of the people in socio-economic development process.
