(VOV) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Saturday worked with leaders of the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee on implementing a zoning plan for Hanoi’s development until 2030, with a vision to 2050. During the working session, representatives from central ministries and sectors contributed their opinions on the zoning plan for both sides of the 12km Noi Bai-Nhat Tan expressway, which is regarded as an international gateway and a highlight of modern Hanoi. In his speech, PM Dung praised Hanoi’s efforts to carry out the plan after it was approved and asked municipal leaders to manage the zoning properly and effectively in according to the adopted plan. He underlined the need to integrate the Hanoi zoning plan with the master development plan for the northern Red River Delta and ensure a green environment. PM Dung said: “Planning should be combined with building new rural areas. Existing villages should be maintained through modernization process.
