(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and the heads of the ministries and branches met with the Vietnam Lawyers’ Association on Monday to look at ways of improving the Association’s operations. PM Dung said he hope that the Association will continue to work closely with different sectors and provinces to contribute more to legislation and building a socialist state governed by law. He also urged the Association to work more on law communications, legal assistance, administrative reforms, protecting people’s legitimate rights and safeguarding national independence and sovereignty. The PM also asked the Association to engage more internationally to enhance Vietnam’s role in the international arena.
