(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Mayor of Busan city Suh Byung-soo on Thursday during his current visit to the Republic of Korea and participation in the 25^th anniversary of ASEAN-RoK dialogue relations.

The Mayor hailed the conclusion of free trade agreement talks between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, calling it an important milestone in bilateral cooperation in economics, trade, and investment. He expressed his hope that Vietnam will allow Busan Bank to open a branch in Vietnam. Suh Byung-soo pledged to do his best to help the Vietnamese community in Busan integrate into the local community.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung urged Busan to expand coordination with Vietnam in economics, trade, investment, education, and health care.
The same day, the Prime Minister met with executives of the Doosan, CJ, Teakwang, and Lotte corporations.
