(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Sunday offered incense to Party General Secretary Le Duan at his home in Hanoi on his 30^th death anniversary.

Mr. Phuc praised the great contributions by the late leader to national liberation and unification. He pledged to do his utmost to build a strong, democratic, fair and civilized socialist Vietnam with wealthy people. Party General Secretary Le Duan was born in a patriotic family in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province. During his 26 years serving as the first Secretary and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, he was a consistent political leader, an excellent strategist, a talented organizer and a great ideologist of Vietnam’s revolution.
