Since 2000, more than 1.76 million Great Unity houses have been built or repaired across the country, as part of a nationwide effort to promote sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring that “no one is left behind.”

Despite these efforts, there are still approximately 310,000 households across Vietnam severely impacted by natural disasters and climate change, underscoring the urgent need for continued support.

Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said: "Initial material support and essential goods are vital, but there comes a time when we need to provide sustained assistance, so people can rebuild their homes, restore their farming production, and stabilize their livelihoods. We hope that through organizations, unions, and the Front, funds will be directed to the hardest-hit areas, giving communities the resources they need to recover from storms and floods."
