The figure was announced at a meeting in Ho Chi Minh city on Monday by the municipal Labor Union. The Trade Union allocated 37 million USD to gifts and Tet allowances for its workers. Tran Thanh Hai, deputy chairman of the HCMC Labor Union, said: Our support for workers’ Tet celebration and prompt settlement of issues in labor relations make workers aware of the close bond between employers and employees. It is the driving force for business development. When they are treated well, workers respect the company and will follow its policies to make the company work more effectively.
