Qatar Ambassador concludes his term in Vietnam
(VOVworld) -President Truong Tan Sang spoke highly of Qatari Ambassador Mohamed Bin Jaber Abdullah Alsulaiti’s contributions to forging friendship and cooperation between the two nations. At a reception for the outgoing Qatar Ambassador in Hanoi on Thursday, Sang asked him to extend his greetings and invitation to Qatar’s King to visit Vietnam in the near future.

Regarding bilateral ties, the State leader proposed to increase business delegate exchanges to spur bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
President Sang said Vietnam wanted Qatar to back its nomination to the UNESCO Executive Council for 2015-2019, the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for 2016-2018 and to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2020-2021.
