(VOVWORLD) - The Tram Chim National Park in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap will receive red-crowned cranes, according to a plan until 2032.

Under a project to conserve red-crowned cranes in the national park in the 2022-2032 period, the park will receive and ensure proper conditions for 100 red-crowned cranes to stay year round.

Tram Chim National Park is the 4th Ramsar site in Vietnam and the 2,000th in the world. This is one of Vietnam's internationally important bird areas where more than 230 bird species, including many rare ones, are living.
