(VOVworld) – The second theoretical conference between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party concluded on Tuesday.

The theme of the conference was “Raising party leadership in the context of one ruling party in Vietnam and Laos”. In his address, the Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan said the event took place amid both parties’ preparations for party congress at all levels.  He said that during the conference, both sides exchanged ideas on how to renew and raise the party leadership in each country’s renewal process, contributing to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
