In his address, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang expressed his confidence in Vietnam’s development, and highlighted the strong Vietnam-France relationship.
Deputy Mayor of Paris Marie-Christine Lemardeley said the event, by introducing Vietnamese culture to the French people, contributed to strengthening ties between the two countries.
Lemardeley said: “We continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation to address the significant challenges facing us. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with our Vietnamese partners in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City through the C40 Network of Major Cities to develop innovative and sustainable climate change adaptation measures. We will also meet in Hue in April for the International Association of Francophone Mayors conference.”
At this year's event, overseas Vietnamese and guests enjoyed songs about spring and patriotism, savored Vietnamese cuisine, and exchanged New Year greetings.
