The National Assembly Standing Committee wraps up its 18th session

(VOVworld)- The 18^th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee concluded in Hanoi on Thursday. Delegates reviewed reports on preparations for votes of confidence and consultation on constitutional amendments as well as initiatives to improve the performance of the National Assembly Office. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has agreed to charge Voice of Vietnam with cooperation with the National Assembly Office to launch National Assembly TV channel:“The TV channel must reflect well activities by the national assembly and people’s council. Voice of Vietnam will manage the TV channel while the National Assembly Office will supervise and supply its content. Other central and local TV stations still need to increase the broadcast content on activities by the National Assembly and People’s Councils.”
