(VOVworld) – The 2^nd Vietnam International Choir Competition opened on Wednesday in the central province of Thua Thien Hue to promote this music genre among a wider audience.

17 domestic and international choirs with 600 artists are gathering in the event. The 4-day competition is part of the 2012 National Tourism Year of Northern Central Coast.
