Top leader works with Standing Board of Quang Tri provincial Party Committee
(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary and State President To Lam held a working session with the Standing Board of the Quang Tri provincial Party Committee on Wednesday to review the implementation of the Resolutions of the provincial Party congresses at all levels, socio-economic development, national defence-security, Party and political system building.

The top leader praised Quang Tri for its heroic history, revolutionary tradition, indomitable and steadfast people who always have a strong will and desire to rise.
The General Secretary and President To Lam pointed out the potential and advantages of Quang Tri, especially its convenient transportation, North-South connection, and East-West connection. The locality has potential for energy development, especially clean energy, and is favorable for investment in industrial development.
He requested Quang Tri to continue to do well the work of Party building and build a lean, clean, and strong political system that operates effectively and efficiently.
The General Secretary and President urged Quang Tri to focus on investment in education and health, improve people's knowledge and community health, and develop culture and sports.
Also on Wdnesday, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam met and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, and exemplary policy beneficiary families in the central province of Quang Tri.
