(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh has emphasized leader’s accountability in securing traffic safety.

During Wednesday’s online meeting hosted by the National Committee on Traffic Safety, the Deputy Prime Minister called for improved state management efficiency, traffic safety and local leaders’ accountability. He said deterrent fines should be imposed to prevent threats of traffic safety. Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister attended the launching ceremony of the Year for Traffic Safety in 2017. He recalled the Prime Minister’s directive to ensure public transport service and prevention of congestion.
