(VOVworld) - Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong says the visit by the UK-Vietnam Parliamentarians’ Friendship Group will link UK businesses with Vietnamese partners for greater cooperation and development.  Hong made the remark at a reception on Thursday in Ho Chi Minh city for the group members, led by their Chairman George Howarth, who expressed his wish to promote cooperation with the city, particularly in trade and investment.

Howarth said their ongoing Vietnam visit will tighten the bilateral relationship in the context of the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
