(VOVworld) – A UN Security Council mission will visit Colombia in May to support Colombia’s peace progress. Britain’s UN Ambassador Matthey Rycroft told reporters Thursday that the delegation will comprise of representatives of Britain and Uruguay, the current and next President of the UN Security Council.

A UN mission is currently in Colombia to oversee the disarmament of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the realization of a peace deal between FARC and the Colombian government.
