(VOVworld) – Colombia’s daily newspaper The Public reported Thursday that the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) has officially registered as a political party, following the Constitutional Court’s ratification of the government’s revised peace agreement with FARC.

FARC will represent militia forces in the Congress in crafting dozens of reform plans within the framework of the historic peace deal between the Colombian government and FARC, with a top priority being the Law on Amnesty.
