(VOVWORLD) - The UN75 Youth Forum with the theme “The future we want” opened in Hanoi on Sunday.

Organized online by the UN Office in Vietnam, the event aims at encouraging young Vietnamese people to share issues of their concern.
In his address, UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam Kamal Malhotra said the forum is part of activities celebrating the 75th founding anniversary of the UN.
Participants discussed ideas and solutions concerning climate change and the environment, social equality, the strength of music, and the future that the younger generation wants. The topics were selected from a survey called “You talk, we listen” drawing more than 800 young people aged from 16 to 26 in 59 cities and provinces.
