(VOVworld) – Turkey and the US have signed an agreement on a military campaign against the Islamic State, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at a press conference in Ankara on Tuesday. An exact date to initiate the campaign has not been given.

Earlier, Turkey agreed to co-operate with the US to launch “comprehensive” air strikes on IS militants in Syria and to support Syria’s opposition forces.
