(VOVworld) - Turkey will soon start air strikes on the Islamic State group (IS) in Syria, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu vowed on Wednesday ahead of his meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum in Malaysia. Cavusoglu said Ankara was training and equipping the moderate Syrian forces, adding that air strikes would start very soon. He said the field would be safer for the moderate opposition who are fighting IS on the ground.
