Vice President delivers gifts to young cancer patients
(VOVworld) - Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh has reiterated the special care given by the Party and State to children.

Ms. Thinh was speaking at a Mid-Autumn Festival for children suffering from cancer at the K Hospital in Hanoi on Tuesday: “ I praise and call on the Ministry of Health and the Fund “For a Bright Tomorrow” to continue to take initiatives, contributing to combating cancer and improving public health. I believe that with joint efforts by the community in the spirit of “The haves help the have-nots”, this program will surely be successful, easing the pain of cancer patients.”
To mark this occasion, the “For a Bright Tomorrow” Fund gave 70 gifts to children being treated at the K Hospital. Over the past 5 years, the Fund has raised more than 50 billion VND to help poor cancer sufferers.
