(VOVworld) - Links between Ho Chi Minh City and Canadian localities have contributed significantly to the fruitful, wide-ranging cooperation between Vietnam and Canada in recent years that has resulted in two-way trade of over 2 billion USD. The opinion was shared by Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of HCM’s municipal People’s Committee and Edward Fast, Canada’s International Trade Minister at their meeting in HCM City on Thursday. The Minister called for further support to help Canadian businesses operating in Vietnam. The Canadian minister said he will encourage Canadian firms to invest in Vietnam, a safe destination for investment.
