(VOVworld) - A delegation of the State Commission for Ethnic Affairs of China led by its Vice Minister and Deputy Head Li Zhao had a working session with officials from the Steering Committee for the Northwestern Region in Yen Bai province on Friday to learn about ethnic affairs.

At the reception, Deputy Minister and Deputy Head of the Steering Committee Hoang Thi Hanh said the material and spiritual lives of ethnic minorities in the region, particularly in the remote and mountainous areas, have improved thanks to the Party and State policies. She said the visit affords a chance for both sides to share experience in promoting development for ethnic minority regions.
