(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Red Cross on Thursday handed over US$30,000 to Filipino Ambassador Jevvil G.Santos to help the victims of the recent Washi storm. The donation was a gesture of mutual assistance from Vietnam to another ASEAN member country and in response to a UN call for US$30 million in relief aid to the Philippines. The Vietnamese Government has so far donated US$100,000.
