(VOVWORLD) - Minister and Head of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung has asked the State Bank and other commercial banks to offer solutions to achieve a GDP growth of 7.42% for the second half and 6.7% for the whole 2017.
At a working session on Tuesday, Minister Dung said the Prime Minister has directed the State Bank to create and explain measures to increase credit growth, lower interest rates, and handle bad debts. He asked the central bank to mobilize foreign currency, eliminate cross ownership, simplify loan procedures for businesses, and implement a 100 trillion VND (4.5 billion USD) credit package to support high-tech agriculture.
