Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics asked to become a leading medical hub
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged the Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics to become a leading medical hub in pediatrics in the region and the world.

Speaking at a ceremony to mark the hospital’s 50th founding anniversary, the Prime Minister praised the hospital’s achievements over the past years. He said: “The hospital’s doctors, nurses, medical staff and workers need to exert efforts in all fields to improve the quality of medical treatment. The hospital should strive to become a leading venue for pediatrics by promoting innovation, dynamism, and creativity and strengthening technology application in the medical system.”
The Prime Minister presented the hospital with the Independence Order Second Class on this occasion in recognition of its achievements over the past years. Last year, the hospital received more than 1 million patients and provided in-patient treatment for 100,000 children,
