Vietnam offers the best child care emotionally and materially, says Vice President
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is one of the region's bright spots in socio-economic recovery and development, ensuring social security, including child care, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said at a meeting of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children Sponsorship Council in Hanoi on Thursday.

Madam Xuan, who is President of the Council, said the entire political system, organizations, and individuals have joined hands in childcare activities.
Supporting children in particularly difficult circumstances has always been a special concern of the Council, which will strive to mobilise 4.6 million dollars next year to provide assistance to children in need.
Vice President Xuan asked the National Fund for Vietnamese Children to clearly define tasks and activities to offer optimal care for children both emotionally and materially and to ensure the implementation of Vietnam’s international commitments to children's rights.
She urged the Fund to expand its support for domestic and international social mobilization.
