(VOVworld) – Vietnam plays an indispensable part in New Zealand’s co-operation strategy with ASEAN.
Steven Joyce, New Zealand’s Minister of Economic Development and Minister of Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, made the remarks during Wednesday’s meeting with Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan. Steven Joyce said his visit aims to seek opportunities to enhance bilateral relations, especially in education, economics, and trade.
In reply, Quan called for further efforts to promote the bilateral ties based on the fine political and diplomatic foundation over the years.
Quan added that both should increase coordination to hold practical activities towards the 40^th anniversary of the diplomatic ties next year through which to deepen mutual understanding between the two peoples.
