Vietnam reports 15 new COVID-19 cases Sunday

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health confirms 15 news COVID-19 cases on Sunday morning, with 6 patients at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh district, 1 in the Central Highlands province of Dac Lac, 1 in Ha Nam province, 2 in Lang Son province, and 5 in Bac Giang province. 

So far, Vietnam has 3,245 positive cases of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, including 1,826 local infections. The pandemic has spread to 24 cities and provinces.

As many as 830,000 people have been injected with 1 or 2 shots of the COVID-19 vaccines.

2,400 RT-PCR tests of doctors, medical staff, patients and their relatives, who are under quarantined at 3 facilities of the National Cancer Hospital, shown a negative result. The Cancer Hospital have urgently activated pandemic preventive plans to trace people having close contact with COVID-19 patients and organize RT-PCR testings.
