Vietnam sends message about sustainable development at Pollutec 2016 in France
(VOVworld) – Vietnam has introduced its macro policies in environmental protection and sustainable development at the ongoing 27th international exhibition of environmental equipment, technologies and services (Pollutec 2016) in Lyon, France.

Vietnam also introduced policies on sustainable city development, potentials and business opportunities in Vietnam, and the management of coastal areas, as well as environment-friendly products. Speaking to international reporters, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha talked about Vietnam’s policy on environmental protection for sustainable development: “We aim to create a Green Economy, Green Growth, and Low-Carbon Development. This stresses the importance of the environmental industry, and effective use of natural and renewable energies to replace fossil energy. Vietnam is aiming to develop a low carbon and knowledge-based economy, developing the economy while protecting the environment to assure sustainable development”.
