(VOVworld) - Vietnam and Venezuela  have agreed to work together in more joint projects and programs. An agreement was reached at the second meeting of the inter-governmental committee between both countries in Caracas, Venezuela on Friday. The meeting was co-chaired by Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and Venezuelan Vice President Rafael Ramirez. A statement released later said that the traditional solidarity, friendship and cooperation shown between the two countries will continue. Both governments will make more efforts to successfully carry out the signed agreements. In his closing speech, Vice President Remirez stressed on the need to boost economic, trade, and scientific and technological cooperation on a par with the special friendship between Vietnam and Venezuela. Deputy PM Hai said the signed agreements will serve as a firm foundation for further cooperation between the two countries in the future.
