Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Le Quan said that over the past 25 years, the Vietnamese government has strived to obtain the goals set out by the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and international commitments on gender equality. National efforts have been made to improve the role and status of women.

Mr. Quan said Vietnam is determined to carry out solutions set in the National Review on the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and the UN Agenda to 2030 to ensure “no one is left behind.”
