Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang meets leaders at the Asian-African Conference

(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang has met Iranian President, Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Mozambique Foreign Minister during his participation at the Asian-African Conference.

During his meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Sang expressed his pleasure over recent progress in Iran’s nuclear talks and Iran’s chairmanship of the Non Aligned Movement. Both agreed to promote bilateral ties, especially in economic and culture. President Hassan Rouhani expected both countries will foster link between the ASEAN and the Economic Cooperation Organization of 10 Middle East and central Asian countries.

In his meeting with Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, President Sang praised preparation for celebration of the 65th bilateral diplomatic ties and agreed to strengthen cooperation in multilateral fora, including the Non-Aligned Movement. President Sang said Vietnam support a Korean peninsula free from nuclear weapons for stability, reconciliation, peace and unification between the two Korea’s.

In his meeting with Mozambique Foreign minister Oldemiro Baloi, President Sang said as both countries celebrate their 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year, they should promote cooperation in trade, telecom, agriculture, health care and education.
